This song was written by guitarist/composer Freddie Bryant. I first encountered the piece on his Live at Smoke album (2008) and was so enamored with it, I asked him for the score. I have performed it with him several times in concert, and I perform it often with The Onus Trio. The trio’s approach as captured here is chord-less, which makes for a different sound and approach than you get with the guitar.
